A native of Belmont, North Carolina, Dr. Sawhney returned to her roots to serve the community she loves. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science with honors from Furman University. Dr. Sawhney then went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine. After completing her dental education, Dr. Sawhney further refined her skills with a one-year General Practice Residency (GPR) in Cambridge, Maryland, where she gained experience in a wide variety of dental procedures, including oral surgery, restorative dentistry, and cosmetic treatments.
