ABOUT US
Idlewild Family Dentistry is a private dental practice located in Indian Trail. We are one of the leading dental care providers in the area. Since opening in 2005, Dr. Mitesh Dhulab has been the trusted dentist in the area for general and cosmetic dentistry services.
We want to bring our practice closer to those looking for an excellent dentist. This is why we chose a location convenient to Indian Trail, Matthews, and Charlotte. This is just a twenty-minute drive from Charlotte and a seven-minute drive from Mint Hill.
Patients will feel right at home in our office. Our receptionist will assist you with your appointment requirements and guide you through the process during your first visit. We have a well-lit dental office filled with the latest equipment to diagnose and care for your teeth.

Dr. Mitesh Dhulab
Dr. Mitesh Dhulab, is a distinguished and world-renowned dentist in Indian Trail. When it comes to your dental problems and concerns, he and his team have the expertise and experience to provide you with exactly what you need! Have confidence that you are in good hands with Idlewild Family Dentistry’s very own founder.
In 1998, Dr. Dhulab graduated from State University of West Georgia with a Bachelors Degree in Biology and minor in Chemistry. In 2002, Dr. Dhulab graduated from the Medical College of Georgia with a DMD degree. After receiving his DMD degree, Dr. Dhulab moved to Charlotte and worked as an associate for Carolina Dental Partners.
Dr. Dhulab boasts an extensive background in general, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. He has been practicing for years and successfully established Idlewild Family Dentistry to what it is today. He has attended classes, seminars, and conferences from around the world in order to continually educate and keep himself up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in his field. As a top dentist in the area, he feels it is his duty to gain new insights, bring them to his practice and offer them to his patients.

Dr. Reeva Sawhney
Dr. Reeva Sawhney joined Idlewild Family Dentistry in January 2018. Prior to her dental education, she graduated with honors and a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science from Furman University. She earned her dental degree at the East Carolina School of Dental Medicine. Upon obtaining her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, Dr. Reeva completed a one-year general practice residency in Cambridge, Maryland.
Dr. Reeva was born and raised in Belmont, North Carolina. She is excited to be practicing close to her hometown roots and serving her local community. Dr. Reeva is comfortable providing dental care to patients and families across all age groups and backgrounds. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, including crown and bridge treatment, oral surgery, complete and partial denture therapy, root canal therapy and cosmetic dentistry.
Professionally, Dr. Reeva serves as a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. She is passionate about continually seeking opportunities to advance her skill set and staying current with innovative techniques and technology.
Aside from practicing dentistry, Dr. Reeva is a member of the Junior League of Charlotte, enjoys traveling, venturing to new restaurants, cooking, being active and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Reeva is excited to be at Idlewild Family Dentistry and is committed to ensuring all her patients leave with a smile!
Dr. Anthony Fusco
Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Dr. Anthony Fusco graduated from Loyola University, New Orleans in 2012 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences and a minor in Chemistry. It wasn't until after college that Dr. Fusco found his passion for dentistry, and after moving around the country for several years he wound back up in Las Vegas where he attended dental school at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. It was there that his love of dentistry flourished and he met his wife, Patricia, who graduated alongside him.
Dr. Fusco spent several years in Spokane, Washington, where he completed a General Practice Residency with Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center, focusing on care of medically complex patients, oral surgery, and sedation dentistry. Afterwards, he worked in private practice and public health before he and his wife decided to settle in Charlotte.
He enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, as well as performing a wide variety of procedures from fillings to implants. His favorite part of dentistry is simply helping his patients achieve their dental goals and helping them transform their smiles.
When he doesn't have a drill in his hand, Dr. Fusco enjoys golfing, cooking, and traveling the world. He's a longtime fan of the New Orleans Saints (Who Dat!) and the Vegas Golden Knights. He and his wife recently welcomed their son who will soon be joining them on their many adventures!

Valerie
Office Manager
Valerie has been with Idlewild Family Dentistry since 2006. She started her dental career as a dental assistant and moved to administration with her move to Idlewild Family Dentistry. She attended NC State University and then later became a certified medical coder at CPCC.
She is a member of AADOM and is currently studying their fellowship curriculum. Valerie grew up in local Cabarrus County but now lives in South Carolina with her husband, Brian, and two daughters, Carlie and Candase who are both attending college. She has 3 dogs, Bo, Bitsy and Buddy and 2 goats. In her spare time Valerie is a long distance runner and trains Jui Jitsu. She also enjoys spending time at her beach house, reading, gardening and crafts.
Ashley
Business Administrator
Ashley has been a part of the administration team at Idlewild Family Dentistry since Feb. 2013. Prior to Idlewild Family Dentistry she attended North Carolina Dental Assistants program were she earned a certificate as a Dental Assistant. She has attended classes for medical billing, sleep apnea, and nitrous oxide.
Ashley is married and has 3 fur babies. She enjoys spending time with her husband Chad, the outdoors and being with her family.

Stacy
Registered Dental Hygienist
Stacy has been with our practice as a dental hygienist since May of 2011. She is a 1999 graduate of West Virginia University’s School of Dentistry. Originally from Williamstown, West Virginia, she moved to Charlotte in 1999 where she met her husband, Christopher Leach from Seagrove, NC.
She is the proud mother of two boys: Connor and Corey. Her boys are teenagers now and keep her very busy with sports and extracurricular activities. Stacy enjoys watching her boys play and watching collegiate and professional sports herself. She has 2 dogs that she loves walking daily named Carly and Sophie and a cat named Silas. She is involved in her church and her children’s schools. Her hobbies are reading, gardening, cooking, and television.
Angela
Registered Dental Hygienist
Angela has been with our practice as a full time hygienist since July of 2015. She graduated in May of 2012 from Tarrant County College in Hurst, Texas. She is a born and raised Texan from the Dallas Fort Worth area and moved to Charlotte in December 2014. She married her husband Jeff White from Fort Worth TX in April 2001. She has a son Cayden and a dog Kermit.
Her mom was a schoolteacher and then a principal, so education is very important to her. She loves to hike, travel and spend time with family. She also has a passion for nutrition, fitness and anything to do with dogs.
Nichole
Dental Assistant
Nichole has worked in dentistry for 5 years and has been with Idlewild Family Dentistry since August 2018. She graduated from NDATS in 2015. Nichole chose dentistry as her career because she enjoys helping people achieve a smile they will love! She likes working out, kayaking, riding horses and baking.
Nichole has 4 fur babies, two dogs named Roxy and Dakota, a chinchilla named Gary and a cat named Peppers.
Katie
Dental Hygienist
Katie is a graduate of UNC Chapel Hill and has been providing care to patients in the Charlotte area since 2013. Katie grew up in Indian Trail and is currently living in Monroe with her husband, Matt, and 1 year old daughter, Arden.
She loves spending time with her family and friends and is involved in her church. Katie grew up in a musical household and now loves to see musicals and sing. She also LOVES coffee and likes to find new local coffee shops.
